Community Workshop and Training Center’s Community Integrated Living Arrangement facilities provide training and supervision in a 24 hour setting with program areas focusing on daily living skills. These programs are offered on an individual basis keeping in mind preferences and choices of the individuals served. Coordinated personal support and case management services are provided and individualized per the needs of the residents
Bobby is a resident at a CWTC Community Integrated Living Arrangement facility. He has improved his self-care skills and would someday like to move to a more independent setting. Bobby is a huge Chicago Cubs fan and has met players during the Cubs Caravan and has attended games at Wrigley Field. He is very active in the community and enjoys many leisure activities. Bobby likes living with his friends and helping out around the house. He attends CWTC’s day program and is a hard worker.
An individual receiving services in a CILA shall be at least 18 years of age, have a mental disability and be in need of an array of services and a supervised living arrangement.
24 Hours A Day
All staff members are trained in basic first aid, CPR and CPI (crisis intervention). As required by program certification, staff members have also successfully completed direct service provider curriculum. All staff are trained in Illinois mandated Rule 50.
