Community Workshop and Training Center’s Community Living Facilities provide training in daily living skills training in a 24 hour staff supported group setting. Training and support services are provided on an individual basis with the input of the residents. Case management services include person centered planning and the coordination of ancillary services.
24 Hours A Day
18 years of age or older.
Must have a documented disability.
Must meet HUD guidelines.
Commitment to maximizing independent living skills
Must not be in need of skilled nursing care,
prenatal care or specialized services.
All staff members are trained in basic first aid, CPR and CPI (crisis intervention). Prior case management experience required. Staff is trained in Illinois mandated Rule 50.
Terry is a lifelong resident of Chillicothe and has lived at a Community Living Facility and worked at CWTC for 32 years. He takes pride in his job and has an excellent work ethic. In his leisure time, Terry is involved in community activities. He enjoys Special Olympics bowling, movies, trains and eating out. Terry is a huge Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. His favorite pastime is putting puzzles together… the more pieces, the better!
